We are all using Disinfecting Wipes these Days

If you are lucky enough to have found disinfectant wipes, I have a fun way to decorate the can with decoupage so you won’t mind leaving them out. First thing, find some cute napkins. I believe I found these at the Dollar Tree.

Most napkins are 2 ply so the second thing to do is separate the ply.

After carefully removing the back ply.

Keeping it Clean and Pretty!

I like to keep wipes in the bathroom to wipe knobs, toilet handles, light switches etc. But I did not like how the ugly can looked.

Could be cuter!

Time to Decoupage!

The next step is to peel off the label on the can. I intentionally used the can with the clear lid. It just looked better with my napkin pattern.

In my excitement I did not take a picture of this or the next step. Paint the can with Mod Podge everywhere you want the napkin to stick and wrap the napkin to cover the can. Overlap slightly and trim the excess with scissors. This step is very easy and forgiving. The napkin is very thin so take your time and be careful. If you accidentally have a tear, no worries, just pull the edges together. After it dries, one more coat of Mod Podge and you are done!

Before and after decorated disinfectant can.

Before and after!

Here you have it. Another quick, easy and fun project!

Finished decoupage project

Much prettier!

I just loved this project. It was so easy and turned out so cute. When your canister is empty, pop the top and refill.

Decoupaging with napkins is fun and easy. If you try this simple project, I would enjoy seeing your results.
